Princess Dance Camp

Savanah and Sarah did a Mini Session back a few months ago at the local dance studio and
Savanah LOVED it!

They offered a week long summer camp called
Princess Camp
for ages 3-5 years old.

Each day of the camp they focused on a separate Disney Princess.

They started the day by reading the story of that Princess and then did crafts and learned different types of dance (Tap, Hip Hop, Ballet, Acrobats, etc.).  This was really cute!  They did a Hip Hop dance to a song that was to the tune of "Who Let The Dogs Out"  but the words were "Who Woke Snow White Up!"  Just really planned out and very exciting for the girls that attended, I know it was for Savanah!
To finish off the week they had a Princess Tea Party/ Royal Ball for the girls.  It was so cute!  They all got to dress up as their favorite princess, or just as a princess for those that didn't have costumes.  The girls really seemed to enjoy this.  They were each announced as they entered the room, just as you would be at a real royal ball!

Following are some pictures from the week.  I hope you enjoy!

30 Books of the Bible

A friend shared this with me and I am having trouble finding all 30.  I thought I would share here and see if anyone can find all 30 books!  Let me know if you do!!!!

There are 30 books of the Bible in this paragraph. Can you find them? This is a most remarkable puzzle. It was found by a gentleman in an airplane seat pocket, on a flight from Los Angeles to Honolulu, keeping him occupied for hours. He enjoyed it so much, he passed it on to some friends. One friend from Illinois worked on this while fishing from his john boat. Another friend studied it while playing his banjo. Elaine Taylor, a columnist friend, was so intrigued by it she mentioned it in her weekly newspaper column. Another friend judges the job of solving this puzzle so involving, she brews a cup of tea to help her nerves. There will be some names that are really easy to spot. That’s a fact. Some people, however, will soon find themselves in a jam, especially since the book names are not necessarily capitalized. Truthfully, from answers we get, we are forced to admit it usually takes a minister or a scholar to see some of them at the worst. Research has shown that something in our genes is responsible for the difficulty we have in seeing the books in this paragraph. During a recent fund raising event, which featured this puzzle, the Alpha Delta Phi lemonade booth set a new record. The local paper, the Chronicle, surveyed over 200 patrons who reported that this puzzle was one of the most difficult they had ever seen. As Daniel Humana humbly puts it, “The books are all right there in plain view hidden from sight.” Those able to find all of them will hear great lamentations from those who have to be shown. One revelation that may help is that books like Timothy and Samuel occur without their numbers. And punctuation or spaces in the middle are normal. A chipper attitude will help you compete really well against those who claim to know the answers. Remember, there is no need for a mad exodus; there really are 30 books of the Bible lurking somewhere in this paragraph waiting to be found. God Bless.

For the Stay At Home Moms

Just some pictures and cartoons that I found and thought I would share!

Engagement Party

What do you thing of when you hear engagement party?  Well, my family attended my friend's engagement party this weekend and it was AWESOME!!  It was a lot of work getting it going and making sure everything fell into place but the end result was well worth it.

She had The Pizazz Band come and preform.

This was the first time I had seen them preform except on videos and they were GREAT!!!

Savanah had a ball!  She started dancing soon after the band started playing and she didn't stop until they stopped singing.  They even let her get up on stage and dance with them.

This party was a luau theme so there was a contest for the best dressed outfit.  Savanah waited until the contest started to say she wanted to go up there so I threw her on an outfit and ran up on stage with her.  She ended up winning.  She was so excited!

We all had a great night with family and friends!  I am so glad that the engagement party was such a success!
