Our Garden This Week

Well, this is a little late but...

When we went out to check the garden on Sunday, we had yellow squash and more zucchini.

Our plants are growing really big!

The corn has shot up, its about 3 feet tall now.  The tomato plants are getting really big and have small tomatoes on them.  The squash and zucchini plants are so big they are taking over the pepper plants.  I hope the peppers still grow.

The girls were excited that we got more stuff from our garden.  They were really excited about how BIG the zucchini was.

We picked most of the stuff that needed picking and brought it in.  Guess we will be having squash and zucchini for supper soon!

Our First Garden Pick

When the girls and I went out to check on the garden the other day we saw a large zucchini!  Now there are several zucchini and yellow squash and tomatoes growing, just not any that are large enough to pick.

We picked the zucchini on Tuesday and cooked it for supper!  It was really good.  The girls really liked the fact that they helped to plant and grow what we were eating!
